What is Drive technology?

FireBoard Drive-enabled devices are capable of automatically maintaining fan speeds through the FireBoard mobile app.

How to use FireBoard Drive

Step 1

Attach the G3 Blower to your grill or smoker (see how). Make sure your FireBoard 2 Drive is connected to your FireBoard account. Next, fire up the grill.

Step 1

Using the FireBoard mobile app, set the ambient grill temperature. Add SMS or email notifications for when your food reaches the temperature you want.

Step 1

Do whatever you want until your food is ready. The Drive will take care of everything, so there’s no need to tend the grill yourself. You can keep an eye on your cook’s progress using the mobile app in the meantime.

Get started with the FireBoard mobile app

1. Download the app for iOS or Android
You can download the FireBoard app for free, whether iOS or Android. Once downloaded, create your FireBoard account. You’ll use this account to track and manage your cooks both in the app

2. Sync your device
In the mobile app, navigate to Settings > Add New Device. If your FireBoard device is turned on, it will become available to sync – just like any standard Bluetooth device pairing. Simply tap to sync, and you’re ready to go.


3. Start cooking
